Everyday packaging should keep children safe without making life harder for adults.
Yet millions of people living with arthritis, reduced hand strength, disability, or age-related changes struggle daily with packaging that was never designed with them in mind. This often leads to frustration, loss of independence, unsafe workarounds, or missed medication.
At this stage, our in-person testing can only take place with volunteers who are based in, or able to travel to, the Didcot, London, or Oxfordshire areas. This allows us to run sessions safely, consistently, and in line with our current resources and ethical approvals.
We believe the only way to solve this problem properly is by working with the people most affected by it. By taking part in testing, you’re not just helping us improve a product, you’re helping demonstrate that this is a real, important, and long-overlooked issue that deserves better solutions.
Your experience helps ensure that future packaging is designed around real lives, not assumptions.
All testing is carried out in phases, and we only contact individuals or families when a study is suitable able to be conducted in a suitable region of the UK and suitable approval has been grant

For adults, particularly those living with arthritis, reduced hand strength, or dexterity challenges participation may involve:
Sessions are typically 30–40 minutes and are designed to be respectful, comfortable, and non-strenuous.

Where appropriate approval has been granted, we also conduct child safety validation with:
These sessions are designed to assess child resistance only, and always prioritise safety and wellbeing.
If you’re interested in taking part in testing, or would like to learn more about what we’re doing, please click the Contact us button below and get in touch. We’ll be happy to answer questions or let you know when suitable opportunities become available.
If testing isn’t possible for you right now, there are still meaningful ways to support our work.
Following us on Instagram and sharing our mission with others, especially people who may recognise these challenges, helps us demonstrate the scale and importance of the problem we’re working to solve. Every conversation, share, and introduction helps ensure accessibility and child safety are taken seriously together.
By staying connected and spreading the word, you’re helping us build the evidence, visibility, and momentum needed to bring better, more inclusive packaging into everyday life.
