With over 10 million people in the UK affected by arthritis, traditional child-resistant packaging can cause unnecessary pain and frustration. At the same time, accidental poisoning remains a serious issue, with 25,000 children under five hospitalised each year. Our research-driven approach ensures that our Safer-Cap product provides effortless access for those who need it while keeping children safe from harm.
Through user centred design, including age simulation technologies, we are pioneering a new era of inclusive packaging. By experiencing first-hand the challenges faced by individuals with limited dexterity, visual impairments, and mobility loss, we are working to ensure that our products serve the people who need them most.

In 2020, Elddir Ltd. joined the prestigious MedTech Superconnector program, securing funding and support to develop and protect our innovative Safer-Cap design.
